Seriously ....where do these gamers come from? The Seriously 2.0 achievement in Gears of War 2 that requires 100,000 kills has already been unlocked, and the game has only been out three days!
For those unfamiliar with Gears of War, the first game had an achievement called "Seriously.."- kill 10,000 people in a ranked versus match total. It was notoriously hard and glitched as some people managed to reach 15,000 and still not unlock it. This time around on Gears of War 2, it is somewhat easier.

UPDATE
Having recently achieved this, I thought I better update on the various methods. There are two that will make it easier and less painless, however anyway you put this achievement, it is still a grind.
METHOD ONE : IPOD BRUMAK METHOD
Seriously...stick on an iPod before you try this. It will make the time seem to go a lot faster. I unlocked this just over 19 hours. Playing loud heavy rock or whatever you think, will make the game fly by. The Brumak method is pretty much the fastest.
- Load up Act 5, Chapter 5 (Aftermath, Closure)
- Press the back button to skip the cut scene
- Press A to skip the tutorial
- Blow up the two squads of Locusts right in front of you with rockets. If you aim right, you will not have to move much.
- Reload you checkpoint, rinse and repeat.
I managed to get around 5000 kills an hour with this method.
The game will record your kills in real time, however you must RETURN to the Main Menu for the game to SAVE your kills. Do not turn off your Xbox or join an online game before returning to the main menu, or you will lose your kills!
METHOD ONE : LOOK NO HANDS METHOD
Personally, I have not tried this so I cannot verify it. You will need a controller with auto-fire, like the Hori Ex Turbo, for this to work.
- Load up Act 5, Chapter 5 (Aftermath, Closure)
- Activate auto-fire on the A and X button.
- Tape your right stick so the Brumak is aiming slightly towards the ground.
- Tape your left stick so the Brumak walks forward.
- Rockets will fire automatically and eventually the Brumak will walk into a wall and die.
- Checkpoint will load automatically.
I can't really see many kills with this, however some people swear by it. Credit goes to GunDog for this.
