Game Of The Year

Before you think I am being funny, I am not. I am serious. It is all too easy to pick Assassins Creed 2, Batman Arkham Asylum or even Modern Warfare 2 for Game Of The Year except let's leave that to other sites shall we. Like last years pick, let me pick a game that pushes the boundaries of how much are we prepared to play for achievements.

Edward Lear once wrote that the world is divided into two. Those who have seen the Taj Mahal and those who haven't. The same could be said about achievement addicts. Those who are prepared to play anything and those who care about having a pink gamer pic. I don't and I WILL play anything. There have been some truly dire games I have played over the years for achievements except this easy game here below, actually rocks. Yes I am serious. While every other site will rubbish this game, I am sticking this on the front page...drum roll...

Slam Da Brakes' Game Of The Year 2009. Enuff said. Feel free to post your own selection below!

*nods*

Totally agree. Kind of sad when this game is seriously WAY better than 90% of the games released this year, but that's just the way things are.

And I'm sure if there was an award for Most Disappointing Game of 2009, ODST would have it sewed up something FIERCE.

Played it, loved it & proudly added it to my 1000/1000 list; though I might have had to give it second place. Yes, second, because I went so far as getting a copy of My Horse and Me 2 from England (which plays on our regular un-modified consoles) via eBay for that 1000/1000 - achievement whoring at an all time low with no embarassment.
