Anyone familiar with Mass Effect 1 will know the Mako (the armored assault vehicle) could match any enemy with it's turret gun, even on Insanity. The new Mass Effect 2 Hammerhead DLC, due later this month , will now also equip you with a new assault vehicle called (obviously) the Hammerhead..

I don't think it will be as good as the Mako as I am guessing it will be tied just to the DLC and not transportable to use on other missions. It would be handy if we could actually USE it to land on some planets instead of the boring monotonous mining? There should also be achievements with this DLC as there are five new missions, but don't hold your breath as there is no word from Bioware and the DLC will be free to Cerberus Network members. Otherwise Mass Effect 2 stays at an odd 1015 points and you get just another Mako. Sigh.

Mass Effect 2 Hammerhead DLC is due later this month.
