The FIFA 09 is one of my favorite games on the Xbox 360!

I hope that the OP will still publish his achievement guide for this great game.

Fifa 09 is brilliant, as was Euro 2008. PES hasn't really improved since PES4 (and that was very similar to PES3 anyway) but EA have gotten their shit together on this one.

Many of the achvs are pretty self-explanatory but I'd suggest the following little tips.

Do your Be A Pro mode first. By the time you finish it you'll have a supremely skilled player who will be in your team (if you pick the same team) in Manager Mode.

Be sure to not sim any games in your first Manager season and BUY AS MANY CHEAP PLAYERS AS YOU CAN in every transfer period. You need 50 purchases for an achv.

The other stuff is fairly self-explanatory but getting an overhead kick goal for the On Yer Bike achievement is mostly a matter of luck. However, here's my tip for improving your chances....

1. Play as Brazil vs a half star team like Bury.
2. 20 min halves.
3. Two controllers, make sure controller two (Bury) is set to high auto-player switching.
4. Using controller two, hack down as many Brazil players as you can until you've got four sent off.
5. Make sure the four gaps are in the defense.
6. Now start running a winger to the goal line. Put him at the edge of the area (corner, as near to the corner flag as possible whilst still being in the penalty area).
7. Cross the ball in with LB held down. Not much power. Use direction controls to aim near/middle of area.
8. Shoot with striker.

He'll score a lot of headers but eventually will hit a bicycle kick. I did it after 7 headed goals but it was in my first overall attempt having not gotten near doing it in regular play (4 seasons of Be a Pro and 1 of Manager).

I think I may have found a way in which to sim games, but they do not count as simming:

1. Go onto manager mode, and create your profile etc.
2. When in the match pause the game.
3. Press B and quicky remove the battery pack (wireless controller), or remove the wire from the xbox.
4. Keep trying this until the match starts playing without asking you to select a side.
(If you do it right your team will not defend, but when they get the ball, they will attack without anyone playing =) .)
5. Just continue the season (The annoying part!!)
6. If your managing performance is low try doing half of a match (the glitch can be done anytime in the game)

I don't think this counts as simming, but I haven't yet found out as my carrer was deleted when I recovered my gamertag from my friend's xbox, =( but hopefully this works. I think this might be a glitch, not sure.
