Yeah it was a bit annoying. I check raptr and noticed I was at 40 hours so that was a bit of hit. Although most of the challenges will be easy to just grind. I would rather not do that all over again.
To be honest I think I was sadder about my outfits being gone. lol I was working on collecting them all. Even the ones I got out of the slot machines were gone. Only had it rented so I am sure something will be fixed by the time I get it. Here to hoping no one else has any problems! |

Here is Gearbox's temporary solution to this issue from the link:
"Since it's come down to this being a "profile" save corruption, here are some steps I'd recommend for Xbox 360 users to hopefully help prevent the corruption from happening: -When quitting from playing, press the start button and select "Quit", then yes. -Let it sit at the main menu for 30 seconds, then hit the red button (B). -Let it sit at this menu (the one that asks you to press start) for another 30 seconds, then hit your Xbox button to bring up the dashboard and exit to the dashboard. -Now you can safely turn off your console. The reason I say to go through these steps is because I believe the console is being shut down while it's saving "profile" data. Perhaps something is going on at the main menu screen when you exit, but it's not evident. This could explain why SHiFT is involved in some cases, as it's updating SHiFT information at the time. I'd safely assume nothing is being written to the "profile save" at the start menu. NOTE: This is all theory, and you could go through the same steps on PS3 (just using the PS3 lingo / buttons). I can not guarantee this will save your profile without issues, but it's the steps I'm taking each and every time I quit now. In *theory*, you could shut down the console at the "push start" screen, but I believe exiting to the dashboard may be safer." Just throwing this out there but this is probably why my first profile was corrupted. I lost everything and had to start over. Luckily I was only level 13. It's going to be annoying but I'll be waiting 30 secs between each menu from now on. |
