DefaultUnlock Achievements on Your Phone!

So try this on for size. The first form of a portable Xbox is in a phone, Windows Phone 7 to be exact. Who would have ever thunk it huh. Now no matter where you are or what you are doing you can unlock achievements right from your phone. With 200g per game cross platform ideas, Gamertag & XBL enabled, feels like it is shaping up to be an early x-mas for some of us.

I was to write a feature on this however the lack on any decent screen shots at Microsoft Press site suggest this is just a very late push to compete with Apple's iPhone.

Xbox Live Anywhere was promised four years ago so it doesn't surprise me that only now, since the popularity of the iPhone that Microsoft have started to seriously consider the mobile market and bring something out.

Lets really hope they continue with this than silly Natal.

Yeah i understand they are still hiding full details about it, i.e. carrier & price. As well as I have yet to hear very much of what the phone can do other than XBL. So only time will tell
